🛒 Ingredients
- 500 g (1 lb) steak (sirloin, ribeye, or tenderloin), cut into bite-sized cubes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp paprika (optional, for color and depth)
- 3–4 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp fresh thyme or rosemary (optional)
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- Optional: pinch of chili flakes
👨🍳 Instructions
1. Prep the steak
- Pat steak dry (this helps it sear properly)
- Season generously with salt, pepper, and paprika
2. Sear the steak
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat
- Add steak cubes in a single layer (don’t overcrowd)
- Sear 1–2 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your liking
- Remove steak and set aside
3. Make garlic butter
- Lower heat to medium
- Add butter to the same pan
- Stir in garlic and cook 30–60 seconds until fragrant
- Add thyme or rosemary if using
4. Combine
- Return steak bites to the pan
- Toss to coat in garlic butter
- Cook 1–2 minutes more
5. Finish
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley
- Add chili flakes if desired
