- 1 tbsp oil
Cheese layer:
- 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Optional sauce:
- ½ cup milk or cream
- 2 tbsp butter

1. Prep potatoes
- Slice potatoes thinly (for faster cooking)
- Optional: parboil 5–7 minutes for softer layers
2. Cook beef
- Heat oil in a pan
- Sauté onion and garlic
- Add ground beef and cook until browned
- Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and herbs
3. Assemble layers
- Grease a baking dish
- Layer: potatoes → beef → cheese
- Repeat if you have extra ingredients
4. Add cream layer (optional)

5. Bake
