Hibachi Chicken, Steak & Shrimp Fried Rice
A restaurant-style hibachi combo at home—juicy chicken, tender steak, and garlic shrimp tossed with buttery fried rice, soy glaze, and wok-style flavor.
🛒 Ingredients
🍗🍤🥩 Proteins
- 1 cup chicken breast, diced
- 1 cup steak (sirloin or ribeye), thinly sliced
- 1 cup shrimp, peeled & deveined
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp oil (for cooking)
🍚 Fried rice
- 3 cups cooked cold rice (day-old works best)
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2–3 green onions, chopped
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp sesame oil
🍯 Hibachi-style sauce (optional drizzle)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey or sugar
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp garlic, minced
- Splash of water
👨🍳 Instructions
1. Cook proteins separately
- Heat oil in a large pan or wok
- Season chicken, steak, and shrimp separately with salt & pepper
- Cook each until just done, then set aside
- Shrimp: 1–2 min per side
- Chicken: 4–6 min
- Steak: 2–3 min for medium sear
2. Scramble eggs
- In same pan, add a little butter
- Scramble eggs until just set
- Push aside
3. Stir-fry rice
- Add garlic and mixed vegetables
- Stir-fry 2–3 minutes
- Add cold rice and break apart
- Stir-fry 3–5 minutes until slightly toasted
4. Season rice
- Add soy sauce, butter, and sesame oil
- Mix well until evenly coated
5. Combine everything
- Add chicken, steak, and shrimp back into rice
- Toss until fully mixed and heated through
- Add green onions
6. Optional hibachi glaze
- In a small pan, melt butter
- Add soy sauce, garlic, and honey
- Simmer 1–2 minutes
- Drizzle over rice bowl
