Garlic Butter Steak Plate with Rice & Fresh Crunch Salad

🛒 Ingredients
🥩 Steak & garlic butter
- 2 steak cuts (sirloin, ribeye, or striploin)
- 1–2 tbsp oil (for searing)
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp paprika (optional)
Garlic butter:
- 3–4 tbsp butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp parsley (fresh or dried)
- 1 tsp lemon juice (optional) 🍋
- Pinch of chili flakes (optional) 🌶️
🍚 Rice
- 2 cups cooked basmati or jasmine rice
- 1 tsp butter or olive oil
- Pinch of salt
🥗 Fresh crunch salad
- Lettuce or mixed greens 🥬
- Cucumber slices 🥒
- Cherry tomatoes 🍅
- Red onion slices (optional)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice or vinegar 🍋
- Salt & pepper, to taste
👨🍳 Instructions
1. Cook rice
- Prepare rice and fluff it
- Stir in a little butter and salt for flavor
2. Sear steak
- Pat steak dry for better crust
- Season with salt, pepper, and paprika
- Heat oil until very hot
- Sear steak 2–4 minutes per side (depending on thickness and doneness preference)
- Remove and rest 5–10 minutes
3. Make garlic butter
- Lower heat to medium
- Add butter to same pan
- Stir in garlic and cook 30–60 seconds
- Add parsley, lemon juice, and chili flakes
4. Coat steak
- Spoon garlic butter over rested steak
- Slice if desired
5. Make salad
- Combine greens, cucumber, tomatoes, and onion
- Drizzle olive oil and lemon juice
- Season lightly and toss
🍽️ Plate assembly
- Rice as base 🍚
- Steak on top or side, glazed with garlic butter 🥩
- Fresh salad on the side 🥗
- Optional: drizzle pan butter over rice for extra flavor
