🧀🍗 Air Fryer Chicken Cheese Rolls
Crispy outside, juicy chicken inside, and a melted cheesy center—these are like a cross between a chicken nugget and a mozzarella stick.
🛒 Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded or finely chopped)
- ½ cup cream cheese (softened)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella (or cheddar blend)
- 2 tbsp green onions or parsley (optional)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Salt to taste
- 6–8 slices sandwich bread or egg roll wrappers
Coating:
- 1 egg (beaten)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch)
- Optional: ½ tsp paprika or chili powder for flavor
👩🍳 Instructions:
1. Make the filling
Mix chicken, cream cheese, shredded cheese, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and herbs until well combined.
2. Prepare wrappers
- Flatten bread slices (cut crusts off if using bread)
- Or use egg roll wrappers for extra crispiness
3. Fill & roll
Add 2–3 tbsp filling, roll tightly like a spring roll or cigar shape. Seal edges with a bit of egg wash or water.
4. Coat
Dip each roll in beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
5. Air fry
Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
Lightly spray rolls with oil and cook for 8–12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.

- Honey mustard or cheese sauce
