🥔 Air Fryer Crispy Garlic Parmesan Potato Rounds
These come out crispy on the edges, tender inside, and packed with garlicky, cheesy flavor—great as a snack, side, or appetizer.
Ingredients
- 3–4 medium potatoes (Yukon Gold or russet), sliced into ¼-inch rounds
- 2–3 tbsp olive oil
- 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning (or mix of oregano + basil)
- ½ tsp paprika
- Salt & black pepper (to taste)
- Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Prep the potatoes
Wash and slice evenly (uniform thickness = even crisping). - Season
In a bowl, toss potato rounds with olive oil, garlic, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper until coated. - Preheat air fryer
Set to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes. - Air fry
Arrange in a single layer (slight overlap is okay, but don’t stack heavily).
Cook 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through. - Finish & serve
Cook a few extra minutes if needed for crispiness. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
💡 Tips for extra crisp
- Soak slices in cold water for 20–30 minutes, then dry well (removes starch)
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for better melting and browning
- Don’t overcrowd the basket—airflow is key
- Flip carefully so the crust stays intact
🔥 Flavor variations
- Spicy: add chili flakes or cayenne
- Loaded: top with sour cream + chives after cooking
- Herby: add rosemary or thyme
- Cheesy upgrade: mix in a little mozzarella for stretch
