- 500g (1 lb) ground beef
- 2–3 bell peppers (sliced, any color)
- 1 small onion (chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 cup tomato sauce (or cream for a richer version)
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp oregano or Italian seasoning
- Salt & pepper
- 1½–2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or mix)
Optional:
- Cooked rice or pasta (to make it more filling)
- Chili flakes for heat
👨🍳 Instructions
1. Cook the beef
- Brown the ground beef in a pan
- Add onion, garlic → cook until fragrant
2. Add vegetables & sauce
- Stir in bell peppers → cook until slightly soft
- Add tomato sauce and spices
- Simmer 5–7 minutes
3. Assemble
- Transfer mixture to a baking dish
- Add cooked rice/pasta if using
- Top with shredded cheese
4. Bake
- 180°C (350°F) for 20 minutes
