Garlic Butter Steak Plate with Rice & Fresh Crunch Salad

🛒 Ingredients
🥩 Steak & garlic butter
- 2 steak cuts (sirloin, ribeye, or striploin)
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp paprika (optional)
- 1–2 tbsp oil (for searing)
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp fresh parsley (or dried)
- 1 tsp lemon juice (optional, for brightness)
🍚 Rice
- 2 cups cooked basmati or jasmine rice
- 1 tsp butter or olive oil
- Pinch of salt
🥗 Fresh crunch salad
- 1 cup lettuce or mixed greens 🥬
- ½ cucumber, sliced 🥒
- 1 tomato, chopped 🍅
- ¼ red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice or vinegar 🍋
- Salt & pepper, to taste
👨🍳 Instructions
1. Cook the rice
- Prepare rice ahead or fresh
- Fluff and mix with a little butter and salt
- Keep warm
2. Sear the steak
- Pat steak dry (important for crust)
- Season with salt, pepper, and paprika
- Heat oil in a pan until very hot
- Sear steak 2–4 minutes per side (depending on thickness and doneness preference)
- Remove and let rest 5–10 minutes
3. Make garlic butter
- Lower heat to medium
- Add butter to the same pan
- Stir in garlic and cook 30–60 seconds
- Add parsley and lemon juice
4. Coat steak
- Spoon garlic butter over rested steak
- Slice if desired
5. Make salad
- Combine vegetables in a bowl
- Drizzle olive oil and lemon juice
- Season lightly and toss
🍽️ Plate assembly
- Place rice on one side of plate 🍚
- Add sliced steak with garlic butter on top 🥩
- Add fresh salad on the side 🥗
- Spoon extra pan butter over rice for flavor
